My Favorite Towel
Last summer, when I visited my friends Gayle and Bill in Colorado, it was so relaxing. I had my own room and bathroom, and could sleep as late as I wanted to every morning. *Sigh* Anyway, I loved their towels. They were extra big and soft and absorbent. I questioned Gayle: "Do you use a special fabric softener?" "No." "Then what is it?" She told me they were inexpensive Walmart towels, and I couldn't believe it. I recently bought one just to see if I really like it as much as I thought, and sure enough, it's a great towel for a great price. The brand is Mainstays, made especially for Walmart, and they are 100% cotton (ringspun loops). The one I got is bath-size, much larger than the towels I normally use, and very soft. It cost less than $7. No kidding. I'm kind of wishing my old towels weren't in such good shape. But my guest bath towels are not at all absorbent, so I think I'll slowly replace them and pamper my guests as I was pampered. In the meantime, this one's mine!
