Eat Charcoal?
Remember when our kids were little and we kept Syrup of Ipecac in case they swallowed something bad and we needed to make them throw it up? Well, it's still a good idea to have that around if you have little ones. But another good thing to have on hand for an emergency is Activated Charcoal capsules. As with Syrup of Ipecac, you don't want to use it unless instructed to do so by a Poison Control Center or a doctor, but if you need it, you won't have time to go looking for it. [DO NOT use Syrup of Ipecac and Activated Charcoal at the same time -- the charcoal will adsorb the ipecac.]Activated Charcoal will adsorb and absorb thousands of times it's own weight in toxic substances and help flush them out of your body. No, that's not a typo. Adsorb means to gather on the surface in a condensed layer -- literally, in Latin it means "to suck".
But AGAIN I REPEAT, do not use it without proper instruction. It can be a lifesaver, if used under proper instruction. It's not expensive, and a great thing to keep around for, God forbid, an emergency situation.

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with that. But a Google search shows there are some studies going on regarding this. God bless and I hope you will be completely healed.
