I Fell Off the (Blog) Wagon
I know, I've been a very bad girl. I haven't posted anything in over a week. After posting virtually every day for the year of 2008, I hit a blank spot. Actually, I've been a very good girl, taking care of all my responsibilities. I just got overwhelmed and ran out of steam. So, I'm still giving myself permission not to post every day, but I hope to at least 2 or 3 times a week. Have you missed me? :)
This will be the first Christmas since 2005 that all our boys will be home for Christmas, and we have the added bonus of two lovely daughters-in-law. So, I've been trying to make everything ready. Barrett and Beccy fly in from Germany this Friday night -- we can't wait! And the others will be in and out over the holiday week. Even though we keep the holidays fairly simple, there is always a lot of preparation for the mom of the family.
I've also helped Dear Hubby launch his own blog in the last few weeks. In addition, last week I spent five wonderful days in New York City, showing two of my sisters the sights. We had a fabulous time, but was it cold!! I was behind when I left, and even more behind when I got back, but it was worth it. I will share some of our experiences with you in future posts.

But, I'm baaaaaaaack! I leave you with a picture of me and my sisters Kim and Alicia taken with Santa Claus. He parked his antique Lincoln by the curb at Central Park, right by the Plaza Hotel, and was available for hugs and pictures. He wouldn't even accept a tip or donation! What a sweetheart.
